2 weeks plus 3 days left... Its gonna be over really soon... I would be leaving this place called Pulau Tekong, having completed my BMT...
I'm ill this weekend... due to a freak accident... On thurs i was on a tonner carrying fire extinguishers, one of them went off while the tonner was rocking all over, as it dosen have a safety pin... the entire vehicle was filled with smoke, i accidentally inhaled some of the salty crystals which caused irritation to my throat, starting a chain reaction of sore throat, flu, fever and cough... Haiz...
5 days more to results day, getting more and more jittery... a lot of "what if"s is on my mind now... wad if cannot make it? wad if can make it, wad course i gonna take? wad if i dun get to book out on tat day? Lotsa questions in my head now... hoping for everything to turn out nicely....
Tats abt it ba... wish me good luck for my re-sit test tmrl and more importantly, my A level results day...

End of an amazing week... threw my first live handgrenade on wednesday... i was quite nervous b4 tat, heart pumping very fast... While i was highporting at the viewing bay, ready to move off to throw my grenade, the detail in front of mine had a blind... WTF... had to wait for another 30 mins... Sit until sian, then the medic beside me keep playing his gameboy, very annoying lor... Finally after 30mins the explomo coolly walked towards the blind, planted C4 charges ard it and slowly walked back to bay 3 to take cover... The connecting wires were alady smoking but he was still taking his own sweet time to walk, power sia... suddenly the C4 exploded, creating an impact that shocked even ppl having lunch on the top of the hill... Lol...
Then thursday was trench digging, it almost took my life away... i spent 2 hrs digging the shellscrape and was totally shagged after tat... didn't even want to move... Onli the majestic sight of 8 tonners rolling into the site gave me some energy to carry my FBO and run towards the tonner... We're going home!!!
And very soon i will be completing my BMT and moving on to units... dunno where i'll be going but my CSM told us most probably will be drivers and storeman, cos the SAF are in sever shortage of drivers now... The obese recruits tat cannot pass IPPT will be posted to drivers and storeman, while those that pass will most likely go to command schools... I really wanna be a driver, and pls dun send me to combat units, or else i will die there...
Lastly A level results will be released very soon, hopefully i did well, so tat i can go university... As for her, think i have finally made up my mind to give up... we're not meant to be... but i juz feel really betrayed by a so called "good friend"... He shld have been honest and we have a fair competition... I'll take this as a lesson learnt, muz beware of this kind of ppl in the future...

Another weekend has passed by, gonna book in later again(sian)... I spent the last weekend totally recuperating at home, hoping to recover from my abrasion and the blisters on my soles... they are much better now, but my elbow is still bruised, dunno tmrl how to do leopard crawl...
Well my next weekend will be a total mystery, dun have any idea whether i'll be able to book out at all, cos i'm supposed to go for re-SIT test, which might take place over the weekend(touchwood), or i may kena guard duty... so i'll say there's onli a 50% chance of me booking out next week...
Perhaps my next book-out will be on results day, which my buddy says is likely to be on 4 March... (his mother is MOE deputy director)... Getting very gan-jiong alady... I'm like juz 2 weeks away from learning the fate of my future... If the results are good, i can go to the U and perhaps get a good job in the future... If my results suck, then perhaps my life is over, i will most probably be able to realise my ambition of becoming a bus captain! God bless me, give me good results pls, lemme have a choice of wad i wanna be in the future...
Had a really good chat with 1 of my platoon mates while we were on Att B together... His words sort of enlightened me... I really shld be more confident abt myself and not be bogged down by my appearance... Perhaps i was really too stupid and stubborn, kept holding on to some false hope which might never materialise... I really shld be opening up my options...
I'll let nature take its course and not force things to happen... right now i juz wanna get my A level results and get the hell out of Tekong asap...

End of a very tiring week... Had BIC on wednesday, the 70m leopard crawl almost killed me, well almost... i'm still alive, with a bruised left elbow... Then had to endure Sgt Firdaus' tekaning whenever he is the DI, stand-by bed in 5 mins those kind of impossible things, send arms le he not happy get us draw arms and send arms again... sian... all these is happening bcos i've got a 2LT for my new PC, he was from Bravo, Sch 1 CO "ah Lim" sent him over to kill Delta 4... He is super garang...
And there was still the 12km road march on friday that killed the whole platoon.... i ended up with blisters on both feet plus big abrasions near my groin area... OUCH!!! Muz take even more precautions for the next one, 16km... Haiz next week being forced to go for re-SIT test, plus got grenade live-firing, trench digging, think will be another long long week... hopefully next week can book out earlier, not 1530 fast craft again...

5 days of CNY passed by juz liddat, and once again i'm a few hrs from booking into Tekong again... I had enough rest from the past 5 days to mount an assault to my final month of BMT... After tat will be getting A level results then POP le... YEAH!!! Getting more and more jittery as results days draws nearer... I've been thinking alot abt my future lately, wad if i cant make it to the U? Yes i always said i wanted to race in F1, but lets be realistic, not everyone is able to reach the pinnacle of motorsports, and most definitely not me with my sucky fitness... I'm juz praying hard for good A level results... I have really high hopes for this exam cos never ever in my life had i put in so much effort for an exam, so really hoping for my efforts to pay off...
Well to sum up my 5 CNY days,
Day 1(Wed): woke up extremely late, close to noon... then slack abit, play abit of PS2 then visited my uncle hse in the late afternoon... stayed there for dinner and played Dai Di with my cousins till abt 2230... then went home...
Day 2(thurs): Played soccer in the morning with JK, KL, KKK and Alvin... had a lil headache so i din play much... my cousins came over to my hse in the afternoon to play PS2 till dinner time... Thot can meet up with Senghou Gang for some activities in the nite, but they went to DM's hse so in the end stone at home...
Day 3(fri): went to "yum cha" with my parents in the morning, had a really sumptous meal, but i muz say the dishes were not as good as last time le, dunno why... after tat my mum got me my first ATM card(YEAH!!!)... haha... first time draw money very gan jiong sia... in the afternoon met 10 other botaks plus DW to shop at Sim Lim for mp3 players... I am targetting the Creative Zen Micro but i haven buy yet cos waiting to see if the price will drop somemore... current value is $415... then at nite go eat seafood platter at Fish & Co, to celebrate Amos' bdae... then go park lane play arcade till abt 2000 then go home lor...
Day 4(sat): went for class ktv, not really class outing cos onli got 5 ppl go... sang for 3 hrs and had the k box lunch... grilled chicken set... not bad sia... much better than the miserly small chicken pie i got last time... Then went to heeren to take neo-prints... haha... not my idea, the gers idea, so no choice lor, "qian jiu" them lor... after tat ate long john at lido and sat there to talk cock for abt 2 hrs... then went home le... Not a bad dae, cos got to see her... haha...
Day 5(sun): very sian day, nothing to do... waiting to book in...
Tats all ba, gotta rush to book in le... I will survive my last month in BMT!!!

Finally booked out of Tekong for CNY!!! My last weekend kena burn bcos of SIT test, which i am supposed to go but i didn't, as i decided i hate outfield so much that i gave up the chance to go SISPEC... Actually not really give up la, juz tat i'm more realistic, muz pass IPPT to go command sch ma, and since i got absolutely no chance of passing IPPT at DELTA (Downtown East) COY, i might as well miss the SIT test and get to slack in bunk...
Also received news via SMS that my jc chinese tutor had passed away on 3rd Feb, haiz... wanted to go for her wake but kena confined till todae, her body had alady been cremated on Sunday... Life is really fragile man...
Think it has been a month since i last saw her, haiz... i've got a bad feeling, something has happened... dunno why, juz an intuition, no rumours or anything... Lets hope we can meet up during CNY...
Looking back, its been exactly 2 months in the army for me... so far i feel the training is still super slack, but dunno why still got ppl "peng sang", funni sia... I finally got to see the true powers of warrant officers... dun play play with them during drill lessons, they are the masters of the parade square... My vest slack got totally drenched standing 2 hrs under the hot sun at the infamous Tekong parade square...
